The Association was formed on the 12th March 1980. Initially named the "Langham & Barleythorpe Gardens & Allotments Association" it undertook to manage the Langham allotments on behalf of the Parish Council and offered membership to any gardener in the parish. Apply for an allotment - £16.00 per year, which includes membership to the Gardeners' Association. Sometimes Half allotments are available at £10 per year including membership. There is an A.G.M held in February and a village show held in September. These are open to members and non members alike. Occasionally, we hold a talk or demonstration and social evening between October and February, these are open to members and non-members alike.
