Langham in Rutland
Farming
Outside the residential part of the village are a number of farms, as well as numerous small holdings.  The farms are a mixture of arable, for corn, rape and linseed, and vegetable crops, as well as pasture for cattle and sheep. Other fields are devoted to horses, with a number of stables for riding, polo or for breeding including a stud farm.  Langham is within the area covered by the Cottesmore Hunt, hence the interest in horses.
